My daughter enjoyed her week at sewing camp so much. Besides sewing her own bag and stuffed animal, she worked on other fun craft and art projects. They were amazing and very encouraging with each project. My daughter can't wait to take more classes! - Celeste

My daughter absolutely LOVES sewing class with Sew & So's! They are wonderfully patient, engaging and give her the freedom to run with her big ideas. Thank you so much for such a wonderful sewing class. This was E’s first time sewing, and it was an incredible experience thanks to both of you.
As a child with severe dyslexia who faces challenges with reading, E found the class truly therapeutic. You provided a warm, supportive, and encouraging environment that allowed her to be creative and learn a new skill. I felt that positive atmosphere as well.
We only wish there were a weekly summer program so that E could continue her progress! She is already counting the days until the fall season.

At Sew & So’s, we blend decades of fashion design and teaching experience with a passion for sustainability and creativity. Our mission is to provide children and adults with a welcoming space to learn sewing, fashion design, and upcycling—building confidence, self-expression, and community while fostering a more thoughtful approach to fashion and the world around us.

Debbie is a New York–based Creative Director and Senior Fashion Designer with over 35 years of experience building and scaling multimillion-dollar brands. She has designed for globally recognised names including Guess Childrenswear, The Walt Disney Company (Hannah Montana), Nickelodeon, and Mattel (Monster High). As the creative lead behind the Mary-Kate and Ashley line for Walmart and Asda, she scaled the brand to $80 million in sales and earned industry recognition including Disney Licensor of the Year and the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Award.
Throughout her career, Debbie has mentored and led large creative teams, combining innovation with commercial strategy to translate ideas into successful, trend-driven fashion. Today, she brings that same depth of expertise to the studio, teaching children and adults the craft of sewing, fashion design, and upcycling in a way that is structured, accessible, and creatively ambitious.
